About

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Andre Gomes began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2002 at the age of 14. With over 20 years of experience on the mats, he has built a career defined by technical excellence, leadership, and international recognition.

Andre spent four years living in Dubai, where he coached the United Arab Emirates Army. During this time, he gained high-level experience training military personnel and refined a disciplined, results-driven coaching methodology.

In 2018, he moved to the United States to continue expanding his career as both a competitor and instructor. In 2021, Andre opened his own academy in Texas alongside his partner, Gary.

Today, he serves as the Head Coach at Carlson Gracie Lewisville, where he continues to earn titles as an active competitor while building a strong, disciplined, and competitive Jiu-Jitsu team.

Andre Gomes is recognized not only for his achievements on the mat, but for his commitment to developing confident students, high-level competitors, and a culture rooted in respect, consistency, and excellence.

Professor Henrique Saraiva is a 5th Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and Judo Black Belt with more than 25 years of experience teaching, competing, and developing martial artists around the world. He is widely recognized for his technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to preserving the traditions of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while helping students reach their full potential.

About

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Henrique Saraiva was introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by his father, Master Orlando Saraiva, a 9th Degree Red Belt and one of the pioneers of the sport in Brazil.

Over the last 25+ years, he has built an international reputation as a competitor, instructor, and mentor.

As Head Coach of Carlson Gracie São Paulo and Carlson Gracie Ireland, Henrique has trained thousands of students and promoted more than 100 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belts.

His leadership helped establish Carlson Gracie Ireland as the top-ranked IBJJF team in the country in 2019.

A 5th Degree Black Belt, Judo Black Belt, and IBJJF World-Level Referee, Henrique combines elite-level martial arts experience with academic backgrounds in Physiotherapy and Behavioral Neuroscience.

His mission is to help students develop confidence, discipline, self-defense skills, and lifelong success both on and off the mats.

COACH CHAD

Muay Thai Coach

Coach Chad was born in Euless, Texas, and began boxing at just six years old, inspired by his father, a Marine boxer, and his older brothers. He trained at Paulie Ayala’s Gym and Dave Gorman’s Super Pro Gym through the Silver Gloves program before transitioning to wrestling at 16, competing all four years of high school.

After high school, he pursued kickboxing and Muay Thai at Fort Worth Combatives. Following a brief professional wrestling career and years of stunt work with major companies like Marvel, he dedicated himself to coaching.

Coach Chad has worked nationwide with organizations such as Title Boxing, Tapout, and 9Rounds, and served as Head of Combat Fitness in Los Angeles. He also trained with the renowned 8711 Stunt Group, known for films like John Wick, Deadpool, and Bullet Train.

His passion for coaching is driven by the core values martial arts instilled in him: respect, discipline, confidence, purpose, and a lifelong pursuit of knowledge
